In this new POV drive we discover the EX30, the smallest electric SUV Volvo produces, and it looks really cute in this Cloud Blue with the black roof and the big aero wheels. No more grille up front, but still the 'Thor's Hammer' headlights to remind us of the Volvos from the past.
This baby Volvo is also one of the most powerful Volvos ever produced, with a peak power of 442 hp sent to the 4 wheels!
Inside we find a lovely minimalist cockpit with a lot of recycled fabrics and Google Automotive based infotainment system with a crisp and responsive 12.3" touch screen and all the great Google apps like Assistant and Maps.

Ngl I kinda hate how nearly everything is hidden in the center screen. There should be certain functions like adjusting the mirrors done by physical buttons.

I agree with that there sould be some physical buttons like climate and stuff. But why the mirrors?? That is one of the things nearly only do one time, and that is first time driving the car....

You need to get used to it, once you know where everything is hiding in the menus, you should be ok. 😅

As long as you can login to the car and it sets the seating & mirrors to your liking, it should be just one time setting up the mirrors indeed.

Yes. Limited test time so I had to make choices. Didn’t know the details of the lights so skipped it. I’ll show them on the EX90 when I have it in Belgium for a longer test drive.

How does the quality feel? From what I see from the video it looks 90% plastic. 500 000 SEK plastic electric vehicle? Is it worth it?

It is plasticy, but it’s done in the right way, it doesn’t bother me because it looks smart and the fabrics are recycled from waste. And I think that’s the cool kind of plastics.

IDK this interior felt super bargain basement when I sat in it at the showroom. Not at Volvo level for sure. Zeekr X felt way more premium.

Haven’t seen the Zeekr yet, but I’m curious. This one is very much plastic, but also very much recycled, so it’s the kind of plastic you can brag about. ✌️😄

Putting windows buttons in the door is a decision made for save money, like having no space in any door. The Citroën Xsara done the same at least in the back seats IIRC, but on the other hand had lots of space in the doors

It's all good! I'm just having a laugh. I was watching your video on my Android TV, but it was suddenly muted due to my Google Assistant being activated. Perhaps you could mute the "Hey Google" prompt for most viewers to avoid this issue. Anyway, I'm new to your channel and I really enjoyed your content. Keep up the great work!
