Thanks for the comment and tip on the issue (will keep that in mind if I come across it again). True the dinner stop would have been a factor but to be honest I usually drive a lot faster with a combustion engine that I only take dinner stops on 6+ hour trips haha.

Well, you have to consider that you can plug the car in at home and fully charge it for 20 euros (my current electricity provider charges me about 0.30 cents per kW/h), which allows you to drive about 250 km on the highway or 450+ in the city. A combustion engine would cost a lot more, especially in the city... but the price of an electric car is much higher than a combustion engine and for that you could buy a lot of fuel for the diesel engine :)... so it's definitely cheaper to run, but more expensive to buy. Well have to see what the future holds

It was about 3-4 degrees when I filmed this, so not too warm, but not too cold to affect the car dramatically either. I can't comment on the other test as I haven't driven this car in winter, but in general EVs are much more costly in winter. At -6 degrees you typically lose about 41% of your total range, so I'd say the EX30 is still in the “normal” range at 30 kW/h in winter.

@@NonstopDrivingReviews Oh that's weird, the test that spoke of 30kwh was around 8-10 degrees. If its 22kwh this car becomes much more interesting.

Are we talking about degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius 😂

I have been driving purely EV for 3 years and had a handful of issues during that entire period. Outside of those issues, the convenience of charging at home, at work, at the grocer, parking garages, hardware stores... typically, outside of the few long distance trips (+400km) I do per year, charging where I am planning on parking during my weeks is beyond convenient
