The exhaust manifold drain plug. Remove it, make sure the hole is no clogged with rust, screw in a pipe nipple

Hello. Thank you for posting these videos. I own a 1986 volvo penta 131. It overheats. I changed de impeller, put the outboard part submerged in a tub with water and there is no suction of water to the filtered black canister, then engine overheats. Any suggestion for me to try? Thank you very much!!

The outboard part has to go pretty deep in water. When you changed the impeller, did you notice the flatness of the cover. Did you use a very thin gasket? Did you prime the cooler, pour water into the filter?

Hello, i live in Utah, have same motor on my boat. I need to know how to winterize it. Does the motor store water anywhere. I know water cools the coolant and the coolant cools the engine. Anything on how to winterize this engine?

I pull the raw water pump off, and store in the house for winter. Also open the drain under the exhaust.
