Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), one of the many safety features of the new Volvo FH series, helps the driver maintain a safe distance between themselves and vehicles ahead. The driver selects their speed and the required distance, and ACC does the rest. The system automatically adapts the speed of the truck according to the flow of surrounding traffic, and the brakes are activated when the distance becomes unsafe.

thats good, we have a 64kph limit on single lane roads not having a central divider so its really useful to be able to limit speed to 64kph and drive truck as normal, not with cruise control engaged.

I'm just thinking if i have this Awesome truck in Vietnam then i won't park the truck outside of my house, restaurant because of the security issue. They will steel every thing "mirrors, volvo logo, these radar systems, windshield wipers,...) :(

And when it has an error it tortures the driver with warnings every minute. I'm so close to taking a hammer and smashing the damn thing. I know it doesn't stop the beeping, but at least I get some revenge.

Mine is same ... Plagued with false alarms. makes it almost impossible to listen to my expensive infotainment system in the truck

I love Volvo but the system is hyper sensitive and annoying!!🤡 It's nothing like the version they use in Volvo cars which is pretty seamless and not plagued by FALSE alerts constantly 🤚

I wish all lorries had this, it would be an end to the fucking stupid drivers trying to overtake lorries at 1mph faster than the one they are overtaking. The other day, no word of a lie, it took a lorry the distance between a 2 WHOLE JUNCTIONS of the M1 to overtake this very slightly slower lorry, resulting in huge amounts of traffic all trying to pass in the 3rd lane.
