4 жыл бұрынWhen the owners of Africa Transport Solutions (ATS) were given the chance to test drive the new Volvo Torque Assist, they didn’t think twice. The South African hauliers are constantly looking for ways to improve fuel consumption, as they often transport heavy loads on hilly terrain with large variations in speed. The benefits were plain to see: ATS saw fuel costs drop by 11%.
“We can definitely recommend Volvo Torque Assist,” says co-owner Jaco Conradie.

Going slower doesn’t save fuel if it takes you longer to get there. It also means less deliveries per year, & poor driver moral. Work just got gas volvos, fully automatic with no ishift. I’m already looking for a new job. What does save fuel is rolling in gear. & that’s all, it’s about planning ahead. Volvo is crap.
