Fitting new Volvo Discs and Pads to a Volvo XC60 D5 AWD R Design. IMPORTANT!! REMEMBER TO REFIT YOUR RETAINING SPRINGS. I FITTED THEM BUT LOST THE FOOTAGE OF THE FIT IN THE EDIT! RETAINING SPRINGS MUST BE REFITTED!

07:33 Brake caliper removal (including hose bracket).

14:35 Brake disc (rotor) removal.
15:12 Cleaning the hub, dust shield and slide pins.
16:07 Retracting the brake piston.
17:42 Fitting the new disc.
19:04 Fitting the caliper bracket.
20:32 Fitting the caliper and new pads.
27:52 Fitting the wheel.
29:34 Closing up the reservoir.

Thanks very much for watching and thanks for the comment - always appreciated.👍 First up on the Volvo front is correcting the retaining spring omission on this video - REMEMBER TO REFIT THOSE SPRINGS FOLKS! 😬 Can’t believe I edited that footage out! The rear pads are definitely on the radar at some point in the future - at the moment they are good though. Cheers once again - all the best! 👍

I can see the retaining spring was installed. You can see it through the wheel rim, but you forgot to remind folks to put it back. Just a small observation, overall a great video.

You’re absolutely correct!! I’m horrified - I may have cut it out in the edit. I’ll try and get it rectified if I can as it’s a crucial component to fit!
