Good job, yes this one is easy, but some xc90 after 2005 for add the key by Obd need remove 2 chips from CEM, some types have encrypted bytes and 1 chip from mirror :) I just copied the transponder, for emergency key, If customer willing to pay me more for the job than main dealer ordering the key (about £200) why not. Obviously for AKL no problem.. Please have a look on some xc90 models.... Take care :)

Good video. You noted it takes very long time to find out the data via OBD. (How long is that?) So you took the way by removing CEM and soldering.

Yes I believe you still would have to remove and solder

You can add a key thru obd but that Will take forever. Thru obd I do them overnight!

@@Peter-hc4di yes I think I mentioned it in the video. Like you said it will take overnight to calculate the eeprom data through obd.

We need you in Ottawa- Canada almost nobody knows how to do it or they charge like 400$ like come on it should not be so expensive. Good job I do have one key and want to program the other one. If i get the one from e bay that has a chip could that key be programmed??? Thanks

400.00 is too much? How much in the Volvo DIY forum was it ? Geeez..... but you will likely get a price break on doing two at the same time, and most will not touch used parts from Ebay. Your mileage may vary

You can solve All-Key-Lost on XC70 (2008) with IM508+XP400 Pro via OBD. It works, but you must be patient, it will take about 8 hours. I recommend external power source for battery. After decrypting you are able to learn new keys. I made it yesterday.

Hi, I have never tried it but there maybe be softwares which are able to extract it.

This has to be the most ridiculous way to go about programming a key fob but it comes with so many options to really mess things up with a soldering gun........on a system you can guess at by looking at a circuit diagram.

Hi! Do you know If im608 with xp400 pro is able to clone Volvo V60 CEM module R5F64525KPD? It can do all Keys lost for this cem type but not sure how to clone it... Thanks!

You would just transfer eeprom and flash file if available
