You should not need subs with loudspeakers of this caliber!

Hi David, you're not wrong. Perhaps I didn't explain it well but we are using a pair of subs (one per channel) at the back of the room as Active Room Correction ( aka A.R.C.) which is our purely analog (no DSP) technique for equalizing the bass wavelaunch at the rear of the room to remove the standing wave. It's a subtractive process to equalize so we're creating an out-of-phase wavelaunch from the back of the room that is adjusted to phase, amplitude and frequency to "catch" that bass wavelaunch and not let it bounce back into the room. Doing this gives you tighter, faster, deeper bass while also improving the mids and highs by eliminating the standing wave dustortion. There is no "additive" bass from the subs. I hope this explains it better than I did in the video.
