Nice demo and review. The one thing I like on this bag over most others is the inner lining. Most bags have a very thin nylon that is weak and slick. On your bag has the same material inside the rifle portion as on the outside.

I'm currently in the process of comparing double rifle cases and I think you just sold me on this VooDoo Tactical deluxe case.. Love those mag pouches and the molle webbing.. Love the option to attach a few more general purpose pouches on each side.. The only worry would be weight and durability.. The Condor rifle bag looks the same, but I believe the pouches are just general purpose and they don't have the molle.. I also think the VooDoo is cheaper and has better pouches than 5.11's rifle bag.. Of course, I can't comment on the construction and materials used, but I think they're all similar Cordura.. Thanks for the review..

hey brotha amazing vid. i got a couple questions. how do you feel about getting this particular soft case vs a hard case. i like the fact that i can fit so much more in this than a hard case. also i noticed the forward part of the barrel is pretty loose even after strapping it down. that leads me to my next question. i have an idea but not sure if it would work but would are you able to wrap one of the velcro straps around the barrel/handguard so its held in place a little bit tighter before attaching the velcro straps? not sure if its long enough to do that.

Thanks for the killer review. Have been racking my brain trying to figure out if I should get this one or the standard. The main advantage of the standard is the backpack carry style. NO idea why they didn't put that feature on this one, would have made it perfect. But you did a great job of showing the extra features this has compared to the standard. So gonna pull the trigger. Plus this has the better quality nylon. That opening shot with ALL the stuff you got into the bag all laid out was impressive as hell. Now over to amazon and a couple clicks later...

FenderSchonJPX Right on bro. Im sure you wont regret the purchase. I def agree backpack straps is the one key feature it lacks but other than that its a phenomenal bag. Enjoy.

Thanks for the review. It's very informative and thorough. How is it holding up? Is you 590a1 still utilizing the standard stock or the 12" stock? My 590a1 with speedfeed stock (measures 40.5"), will this still fit?

Excellent review, very informative and knowledgeable about the product. Something small that may be added to the outer molle is a first aid pouch or multi tool pouch.

The best desktop (or rug top) review for this product on KZfaq if not the WWW. GREAT JOB!!! It's really strange how I use to watch & read reviews before making purchases... Here lately, I've been purchasing then watching & reading reviews...LOL. I just purchased the same bag and it's locked in my rental car trunk. This video is the next best thing to fondling my new purchase + it gave me ideas (that make sense) on how to load out my new addition. I too thought the large mag pouches were doubles and no they're not stretched out. One recommendation I'd make though... When you insert the second mag...slide it under the one already in the pouch. You will do less wear & tear to the pouch edges.

Awesome Review, definitely going to check out your others :) Hoping that you (or anyone else that owns this bag) could answer a couple questions for me. I've looked everywhere and can't find what the dimensions (length and height) of the ID Patch on the middle pouch is. Also, how wide are the MOLLE straps beside the pouches on the front? I would like to try and find some additional pouches to order as well but would be nice to know exactly how much width I have to work with first.
@witkidone10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your interest. To answer your questions...1. The loop field (Velcro panel) on the front is about 9" wide x 2.75 tall... 2. The molle on the sides of the outside front pouches is 3 columns wide so being that a standard molle column is 1.5" wide that's a total of 4.5" of width on the front side molle sections. Just a word of advice on this bag...you might not wanna go too crazy loading tons of extra pouches (weight) to those molle sections on the front. This bag already has lots of storage up front so the weight of a fully loaded bag can be quite excessive if you let it get there. Adding more pouches on the outside only makes this condition worse. On mine I just run my Leatherman MUT pouch centered on one side and my OSOE Battery Pull-Out Pouch centered on the other and it seems to do just fine. Good luck. The bag is truly awesome and still my favorite one out there for the price.

Damn! That bag doesn't mess around haha. Pretty cool that, for me, it would basically replace a range bag since it can fit ammo & magazines.
@witkidone10 жыл бұрын
Thats exactly what it does for me too. Eye and ear pro and a trauma kit are the only things missing. I usually keep those in a serarate backpack.
@EverythingisFire10 жыл бұрын
It took some time but I am really appreciating these more expensive bags. I own cheap ones, the most expensive being a $20 Midway bag but these Voodoo, Tactical Tailor, etc. have great stuff. Plus having two long guns in one hand is better than one in each :) Especially at an indoor range.

Great review and demo. My version of the bag doesn't have dedicated mag pouches, those sections are open. Maybe it's the non-delux version. Been thinking of packing ideas and round capacities. Using glocks as side arms for interchangability of mags and parts. Also small cleaning kits and tools. So how heavy was it?
@witkidone10 жыл бұрын
MysterPynk Thanks man. Sounds like you may have got the regular version. I'm sure it'll still work well for you. As for the weight, I never threw it on the scale but i will say...it gets heavy!!! I left a note about that at the end of the vid. Its definitely something youd wanna load into a vehicle for transport, not carry! Haha.

Question on the Coyote color. Was going to get the black because on Amazon the Coyote looks to have some greenish, mustard tone to it, not too attractive, but on the company website it looks more grayish tan, which I like. A little hard to tell form the video. Which would you say the real life color is like, the Amazon photos or the company website photos? Thanks
@witkidone9 жыл бұрын
FenderSchonJPX Its not tan as much as it is true coyote...like yellowish brown. It matches high end mil gear coyote like OSOE or US Grunt Gear stuff all over my channel. More examples of similiar stuff in my channel banner as well. Also once you use it for a bit doesnt all coyote end up looking the same...dirty brown...which is why coyote is such a good colorway for military kit. If youre overly worried about it Id go with the black just to be safe. I personally didnt want a grey logo on a black bag which is why i never considered the black varient. The logo on the coyote bag is color matched. Good luck bro.

***** Thanks for the input. I couldn't wait I was so excited so I put in the order for the black. From what you are saying I think I made the right call, not that you could go wrong either way. Again thanks for that awesome review!

Can you wear this like a backpack?
@witkidone10 жыл бұрын
No this case does not have any backpack straps. Thats one of the two changes i would make to this pack to make it absolutely perfect. Still though its an awesome pack and i have yet to find one that holds more without the addition of separate pouches.
@rmiraflor5 жыл бұрын
Good lord, that thing’s gotta be 80# if you’ve got all the mags filled. Nice review though.
@davedevun305010 жыл бұрын
where is the case made? USA?
@witkidone10 жыл бұрын
Youd have to check with VooDoo Tactical to be sure but if i had to guess id probably say its not Merica due to the fairly low pricepoint for what youre getting and the fact that it doesnt proudly say "Made in the USA" anywhere on it. While i generally try to avoid "tactical" bags and gear made outside the US, this is one of the very VERY rare instances where ill go ahead and buy anyways mostly because the design and carrying capacity of this pack are the best of anything ive seen on the market that isnt 3x-4x the price. And even those arent as capable without the addition of extra pouches.

Nice job on this video, but I like the bag but I do not like the name voodoo and that skull on the bag do to religious beliefs. Also I think they should have put 2 more pouches on the back of it 1 on each end, for tools like hex keys, 2 screwdrivers, pliers, flashlight, safety glasses, earplugs gloves etc.
@tswanb5 жыл бұрын
You make a big deal about the locks. It's a fabric case. Anyone with a cheap pocket knife can cut it open. There is NO security with a case like this, which is fine, that's not what it's for. Even if the case was steel, someone can run off with it and cut it open later. And if you're trying to secure it from kids, you need to do better.
@witkidone5 жыл бұрын
More for legally travelling with weapons and ammo in a vehicle but to your point at least it would slow someone down from immediately accessing my weapons and ammo and besides I'm never far from the bag when its loaded up so I'd rather each pocket be individually locked than none of them locked at all.
