short term solution for overhead cam, 3D print a phone mount and use Droid cam into OBS to use the main cameras of the phone as your overhead cam

5:15 Maybe there is a way to have a one of your buttons create a timestamp during stream as you press it. Say during a stream you feel like the upcoming bit is important, you press the button and it creates timestamp that you can later go back to during editing. Or even better have it record that segment with a press of a button and have it stored into a separate file after you press again. You can kill two birds with one stone. Have a stream and prepare video segments at the same time. You can probably also record some of your regular videos during the live stream. That way those who watch live stream will get an early preview of the video and then you get an extra video out of it from a different camera angle.

This is a thing with Twitch for sure, but... Well, actually, you could do it locally, too. There would be no reason you couldn’t have a script called when the button was pressed that would be able to write timecodes to a text file, and prompt for a suitable name at the time that it’s pressed. It’s also possible to record each video element separately without overlays and also record the streamed output for editing flexibility.

@Nero 3d Just an FYI. Recording your stream without music is literally a function in OBS. Also, there's a thing called the replay buffer that can be used to record small snippets.

Oh, and Epos Vox also has copyright free music you can use on your streams... You know, if you feel like varying a bit

For a hot second, the channel name was BLACK 3D.... now, if I reload, it's NERO 3D again... what was that?? :D Was Chrome assuming it was not in English and tried to translate it for me or what? LOL

1000 euros for a 120x120mm print volume is kinda excessive, just sayin`. I built mine for half that sum and that`s after the stupid VAT on China imports.

Kit went from €832.46 to €998 in just a matter of month. Seems like a shity thing to do imo. (Not Nero's fault obv)
