The dancers are the Black Crows and Diana is a rare "White Crow" - in Russia, to be a White Crow is to be the odd one out, the non-conformer, an outsider that goes their own way. SO, (exactly as happens in nature) these crows are harassing the White Crow (Diana) and towards the end they place a cloak of black feathers over her shoulders to try and change her. That final deadly stare is when she kills all the other crows and they fall lifeless onto the sloped platform. Diana then slips off the cloak and returns to her own self.
