Hi there, Thanks for your interest. First, those two vortices are in reality a cut view of a single ring vortex. You could try to make two of those sideways to see how they behave. Since the ring expands as it proceeds they will surely interact (collide) along the path. Regarding the model, it was developed in an old version of COMSOL and I don’t have it any more. Sorry buddy but you didnt get it. The simulation of the vortex ring, which is generated by a vortex cannon, actually shows two vortexes, one up, rolling clockwise, and one down, rolling counterclockwise. Thanks anyway for the comment, it will help others to understand.
