Johnathan, what are you hunting?

@@FallObsession hunting roosevelt elk archery and Columbia blacktail rifle on the oregon coast, planning in my first bear hunt this spring. I actually decided to go with the 15-45x and so far I am happy with it. I am still interested in your opinion though! It is very very thick country here and i mostly am using it to glass clearcuts

@@johnathonuncapher7523 well most 20-60 you would have to spend alot for good quality 20-60 because you need much better glass and coatings to cope with the 60x zoom, at 50x theres still a pretty good view but at 60x it's halfway darker and quality has decreased. but for the vortex viper 15-45 the quality is good throughout its whole zoom range so id say if you have the money for 20-60 (1600$) then get nikon monarch ed82-a. if you are on a budget get the vortex viper 15-45x i think 15-45x would do the job at 500yards plus
