Right on Ari, Tomonaga-San looks like a cool dude, this was a good interview. I’m not 100% sold on a 360° lens for EXTERIOR dash cam use. However, I really like the idea of a 360° lens to replace current INTERIOR IR dash cams. This would solve the issue of monitoring Uber passengers, and BOTH sides of the car during a traffic stop. Usually in my area city Police Officers approach from the driver side window, and Highway Patrol Officers approach from the passenger side window. -Chuck

@@VortexRadar Did you talk to him about the advanced buffered parking mode, motion detection, extreme heat resistance, battery etc? Can't wait until you review the last one with cloud. I really need a 360 dashcam for my GX460 that I just bought. I am thinking to either wait for a 360 dashcam you may review hopefully in the near future or temporary remove my two V3 I have on my old car and put them on the GX! Any suggestions?

Nope, all we got into was the different lens styles for 360 degree cams. If you want to learn more, you can check out other reviews, reference the user manual, etc.

Thanks for the quick summary/interview. That last one with cloud capability peaked my interest. If there software and implementation for the cloud features improves on the buggy Blackvue implementation, I will be all over this. I will have to dive into that model more. Although I too noticed the Amazon reviews but there were also very few as well... hmm.

This is promising well done, keep innovating and striving to match or beat the oem capabilities Also don’t shy away from requiring professional installs’s. I want a system so good that I need a pro install to make use of it. There’s zero technical reason to not allow old cars to have these features. The key is to have options for everyone. And right now we don’t.

These companies are ignoring high end. They think nobody will it because everyone complains about prices but that’s because there’s very little difference between $80 and $350 dashcam. I would literallly pay a couple thousand though to be able to buy a single kit that gave me new car model OEM quality camera setup for dashcam purposes, parking purposes, and Birds Eye view etc. all of these functions are provided to car makers by 3rd party manufacturers anyway so it blows my mind nobody makes stand-alone aftermarket solutions that tie into your head unit or whatever display you want. Even the cheapest d Radio head units have video inputs. PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN

Very curious about the licence plate recognizing with the last 3 lens camera. Imo a telelens should cover it. Also plz in-depth info about moving detection when you parked and ability to get a copy of the data to your phone or pc with WiFi (and/or bluetooth) Changing card is not my preferred way of data transmission. Thx for your effort also to this seller 👍🏻

Oh, it’s certainly may be, I don’t know. The video samples shown in this video were from my camera pointed at a laptop screen, not native video clips directly, and that is going to reduce the video quality.

Waylens 360 had this years ago. They left the consumer market.

Yeah, their Secure360 wasn’t a great dashcam so it makes sense. This one seems similar, yeah, but with some design differences like a downward facing lens plus separate front and rear cameras.

@@VortexRadar I agree the downward facing lens is a big upgrade on the Waylens 360 as well as the ability to add a rear camera.

I could be wrong, but I believe a map shows up there when you have an internet connection. Same thing with the right side of the screen at 5:55.

Does this company have a website? And shame at the end he gave no detail on how it was better than a “regular 360 camera” or how it achieved the improved image etc

Now, If they added a wireless camera for the rear, made for outside of the car, or made it possible to connect to a already installed wired/wireless backup camera/reversing camera, They would ACTUALLY have, 360. tell them! =) 2nd. Why not kep the 3rd camera to actually be able to read license plates? they know they can't with that 360 tech. :/

The first camera is cool but the 360 view is primitive I want stitched together feeds like Tesla and countless other manufacturers have had for many many years at this point.
