I've been on the fence between the Vosteed Corgi and Civivi Foldis. Watched many videos on both. Your video and specifically you taking the knife apart and exposing the internals sold me on the Corgi. Best review of all the ones I had seen by far. Thanks for the depth.

Best review I’ve seen so far. Appreciate you taking it apart so you can see how they designed it. Can you sit the knife vertically on it’s own? I see it has to flippers, so wondered if it could stand up straight. Thanks for the review!

If you'd consider doing the Boker Plus Kwaiken Button Lock Flipper (not the automatic) I'd love to see the guts of that thing

Kizer does their Cormorant in a similar fashion with the button and plunge assembly press fit into yhe track in the blade. Not sure if it's better or equivalent to the typical button lock construction but both seem to have excellent action!

Surely that makes the blade weaker at the pivot, it's considerably thinner than the blade stock because of the milled out section

Fair assessment, but it is a smaller, lighter duty knife, so it should be fine.

I wish vosteed would cut down on the packaging on the budget knives... all the patches and everything ide much rather that the money they spend on all that be put in to the knife. This one isn't to bad as it's just a patch, cloth and a sticker but some of them are kinda ridiculous... key chains, bag, patch, ranger patch, metal tin, knife bag... on a 50 dollar Knife all that extra needed to go towards the knife not towards all the stuff in the box we don't care about.
