Vosteed Talarurus & Corgi Sheepsfoot | The EDC Knifes You Need. I’ve reviewed just about every model from Vosteed and I have yet to find one that I don’t like. This time we have to awesome knives that work great for EDC. They are two different knives one has flipper deployment while the other has thumb deployment but they both have some important features in common that make them useful tools and excellent edc knives. In this video we discuss the good, the bad and also do some real world testing to see how they perform. Do you own any Vosteed Knives if so what are your thoughts?

Knife channels have morphed into advertising channels for the materialistic world! The good old days when people bought a knife after careful consideration then gave a meaningful review based on likes an dislikes not revenue have gone.....

I'm glad you pointed out the similarities with the Dachshund. The Talarurus (Ta-la-roo-rus) is the dinosaur with the big club on it's tail.. I'm guessing that's what the thumb disk is supposed to represent.

Nice video! Enjoying my white corgi pup and blue corgi. Great weight and feel in the hand. One of the quietest acoustics.

Could you test the Milwaukee picket knife (liner and button lock ones); I know they are far from the usual quality I'm just curious how they perform in your testing.

I bought the raxcoon about a month ago to give some of my spydercos a break- plus i wanted an axis lock and something different that not a lot of people carry. I have to admit i am impressed. It came as sharp if not sharper than any knife ive used from factory, partially due to its hollow grind. That being said, there are some serious design flaws that I hope they address/improve on in the future. A raccoon XL with some backspacers (!!) would really put a lot of knives to shame in that 50-80$ price point. Glad i picked the raccoon up, but im not sure if my next knife will be a vosteed.

I’ve seen a few people say the button on the Corgi often comes loose. Is there a way to prevent that from happening?

I really like the Talalaurus. I almost picked it up but it's too close to my Oknife Rubato 2. I am enjoying my sheepsfoot corgi and hedgehog though!

I'm curious when you always say you put your edge on a knife? What is that? Do you use a system like a work sharp or do you hand sharpen your knives?

I am sitting here hoping and praying that vosteed does a premium racoon with the top liner lock. I may have to break my buying break for that , if they made it

I have zero Vosteeds. I'm more into traditionals now. I look for slicy blades in good Carbon Steel.

No it's 58 to 62 hrc. When you see 60 + over _ that means 60 plus or minus 2. So 58 to 62, wish they would dial that in!

I say 60-62 only because I had one of my raccoons tested a while back and it was 60.5 and my Talarurus performed better than it did and felt Simon the stones so I may send it off to my buddy to see if he has time to poke it a few times for me because I’m curious, it did better than most of my Civivi’s and I think they test around 59
