Vox has the best sounding Tremolo .Fender is very close but it's a different sounding Tremolo .

I owned that same amp back in the 60's.

It's weird that you never hear anyone talking about Vox's true pitch-shifting Vibrato. I only just learned that they had that effect today. Magnatone is the only other amp I know of that had it.

So tell us, what guitar were you using? What speakers are in the amp? How was this recorded. Inquiring minds want to know, thanks 👍🏻

Sounds like that Amp needs to be taken to a good tech for a tuneup..Or maybe speakers may have had it. These things need a visit to a Tech every 15 years.If your in Jersey Triple S Electronics knows how to make it sound like it should

Those amps don’t really have bottom end, it’s all mids

Yuo should let the amp warm up for at least 5 minutes (better 10-15) before playing, otherwise you will stress the tubes and the output\power transformers...
@jimihendrix31432 жыл бұрын
No, you won't. That's a myth.
@mrkite892 жыл бұрын
@@jimihendrix3143 It's not a myth, the voltages need to reach stability inside the circuit and the increasing temperature inside the tubes makes them fragile during the process, cause metal parts expand. Once they reach a stable voltage\tmperature everything is less prone to fail.
@lastofthe4horsemen2792 жыл бұрын
My amps sound better after warm up.To me anyway
@jimihendrix31432 жыл бұрын
@@mrkite89 Voltages usually stabilise within 30 seconds at the most. Playing through the amp before this can't damage anything or stress any components. The only thing that will is forgetting to attach a speaker load. Then your output transformer may have problems.
