So glad I decided to scroll through your videos. I was eyeing the Omega's some time ago, but didn't see the weight I wanted, so I passed bought more of the traditional style. Today I ran across them again and saw there was a 300gr left bevel offered. "Uh oh". But all afternoon logic and common sense was winning out. "Why buy this when you still have at least six of the other's brand spanking new, never shot 'nothin'?" But now seeing this, and that this is Mr. Barnette's design, that's more than enough reason for me! 👍

That’s awesome! Didn’t know the Rocketman was behind this head. I’ve been using your standard single bevels with great success. Now please give us 125 and 150 grain versions of the Omega!!!

I had no idea this was Darrel’s design. We have the same omega now, been through 4 deer already. I’m baffled by the performance. I’m using and resharpening the same omega all year just to prove a point. The engineering of this head is insane.

If I had known this was courtesy of Darrell Barnett, I'd have bought two packs already. Loaded up this season, so maybe next year.

The Omega broadhead sounds like a great Broadhead. Is there any plans of making this broadhead for Crossbow‘s? Crossbow‘s are becoming bigger market every day. With the design of this broadhead would it be affected negatively by higher speeds that Crossbow delivers?

Hi Raymond - thanks for reaching out! The Omega broadhead is a great fit for a Crossbow given it's 1 1/16" cutting diameter. This cutting diameter was intentionally chosen to give the broadhead excellent flight characteristics. Since it's a smaller cutting diameter than many of the standard broadheads available in the industry, you can shoot it at higher speeds and still maintain excellent flight. Please let us know if you have any other questions! You can learn more about the Omega here: vparchery.com/products/vpa-omega-broadhead

I love the design of these, but other single bevels don't need a jig..people just need to learn how to sharpen.

Not everybody shoots that high of FOC. You guys have to learn to make those for the average guy shooting 100 grain and 125 grain and you will sell sell sell!

Hi Torey - thanks for reahing out! We understand not all hunters are shooting heavier broadheads. We pride ourselves on having a broadhead for everyone - our lineup ranges from two-blade to three-blade, 100 grain to 300 grain, single or double bevel, vented or solid, and more. The VPA Omega will be launching in 125 Grain soon! Stay tuned!

Can a Deer run off with only three legs?

With the VPA Omega broadhead - it won't get far!

I destroyed a humorous and it still took off at a dead sprint for like 60 yards. Bumped him once and he finally collapsed (collapsed, not settled) at 181 yards from impact. Front right leg was completely spaghetti.
