11:27 It is important to note that nmap SYN scan does NOT complete the TCP 3-way handshake. That's the TCP scan which is -sT

Im studying now and this is the first time I have seen questions like this. I have read two books, Exam Cram and Gibson's get certified get ahead, dion and professor messer practice exams as well as Pearson practice exams and none of them had questions drilling these topics and the books glossed over it

Do you have a link to the PBQ that was asking for which systems were infected, origin, and clean? I had that PBQ on both of my fails and im 100% sure i got that wrong. I failed with a 709 and 714 so far out of the required 750

Since L2TP/IPSEC works on both, would have received credit for mirroring the set ups? Reducing the amount of solutions seems ideal from a network management/security standpoint.

Great question! Unfortunately, no. That's because SSTP is designed by Microsoft, which would make it the correct choice for the Windows server. That leaves L2TP/IPSEC for the Mac.

@@cyberkraft1 I missed that you could only use each item once, now it makes sense. I'm planning to take Sec+ before June and these performance-based questions always make me nervous for taking the actual test. You make it look easy to de-construct the questions, which isn't a skill I seem to have.

@@cyberkraft1 Why do they pair up L2TP and IPSEC when they both use different ports? L2TP uses port 1701 UDP and IPSEC uses 500 UDP. How did you discern the correct port from both those options?

That full/split is pretty sneaky, really they should have showed on the diagram that there's a gateway/proxy/internet at the corp datacenter. Then it's knowable.
