I swear, most of these are probably based on jokes that only the people who made these logos would understand. We're completely lost on what the jokes are.

@ExtremeWreck2 жыл бұрын
@@ChristopherSobieniak The fact that they were planned this well probably further indicates that perhaps some of these were inside jokes of sorts that only the people making the studios would get. I think what they did at 1:51 to achieve that effect was create a stencil-like image of the Vpro logo on some sort of hard material. Then, some sort of Play-Doh-like substance was pushed through the holes, creating what appeared to be a melting cast of the logo.

Pretty much. That was pretty interesting how they did that.

0:58-1:08 is my favorite one! It reminds me of The Masked Singer Season 6 where when the Take It Off Buzzer is hit and after the panelist made his or her guess, the contestant tries to take off his or her mask. But when the celebrity is about to be revealed, the contestant stops trying to take the mask off which meant the panelist was wrong.

I can understand why a lot of people don’t like these idents, but you have to admit that for the 1970s they are pretty ahead of their time. Also let’s not forget the fact that VPRO was an avant-garde channel. That definitely explains a lot of these logos.

Hi Jaap - what was the idea behind 1:47 ? I'm sure it's on a lot of minds, and is utterly bewildering out of context, since I saw you suggested some of these 'leaders' did have context. does it represent someone pooping out the logo? or is it intentionally vague? I think I can see a drip of water run down the frame in the early part of the sequence - is that from the material that was being pushed through, or something? It almost looks like sweat, haha. It seems like a lot of people in the comments don't realise this is your work... shame, credit is due.
