The table selection is done through a configurable overlay that is directly integrated into Visual Pinball. The tables are automatically recognized and matched with a database. You can create clear lists using freely definable filters. Additionally, it displays a preview of all currently available pinball tables and shows their high scores.
The launch behavior of VPX can also be configured in various ways. For instance, you can set up different configurations for your 2D cabinet and VR environment. Moreover, the launcher includes a function that detects ready VR devices. This way, you can start in 2D mode without a VR device, and if you turn on your VR device, VPX will start in the VR environment.
The program can be configured to download automatic updates, so new releases are directly integrated.
