Ear candy awaits the F80 enthusiast in this video. Raw sound and crazy revs with the VRSF downpipe and midpipe on a F80 BMW M3. VR Speed Factory www.vr-speed.com/ offers an amazing single 3.5" midpipe and 3" catless downpipes for your F80 M3. Fitment is fantastic and the install is painless. Full disclosure the stock exhaust will need to be cut before the muffler for the VRSF midpipe to be installed. I have the exact same set up. Crazy loud and I love the turbo Whistle coming from the exhaust.

Thanks for the comment! The sound is amazing with this setup. I added the VRSF intakes and charge pipes as well. The turbo sound is much louder, so much more entertaining to drive now.

Hi man sounds sweet got catless dp on my f82 looking to get a single mid pipe wondering is it still loud when vavles closed ? any drone? as i use it for daily cheers

Thanks for the comment! Valves closed it sounds stock no drone. Even with valves open it doesn’t drone unless you are accelerating from low rpm’s then you get a little drone.

Thanks for the comment Jack Bauer. The install was straight forward. With that said set aside a day or two to get it down. Full disclosure you will need to cut the muffler section of your exhaust from the midpipe section in order to install the VRSF midpipe. As long as you have a reciprocating saw this task is nothing to be alarmed about. Keep your eye out for my downpipe and midpipe install video coming soon!

@@M4manny212 once you pull out the stock exhaust all you need to do is match up the bends near the welds ahead of the muffler Mark it and cut it. I played it safe and initially cut further up on the stock exhaust to ensure I didn’t take too much off the first time. I ended up having to trim a little more off to make it fit. Other than that the install is simple. The downpipes install makes for a good time. BMW tucked those things in there for us.

Do they recommend single 3.5 inch mid pipe over twin 2.5 for better performance

Not sure what setup has the best performance I’m sure there is dyno information out there. I prefer the single midpipe. It sounds good and looks good under the car.

All around us is straight piped diesels, Tacomas, ecoboost F150s and they all sound TERRIBLE!

ecoboosts don’t sound terrible, they just sound weird in the f-150s

No offense but when it gets to 5-7k rpm it sounds like a eBay civic with it mufflers cut off

Stay tuned for an updated video with a different tune and updated burble setting. This video was my first tune and I only had the car for a few months. After owning it for a couple years now my tolerance for elongated burbles has depleted. Appreciate the comment thanks for watching.

@@Sessions1 stop it. At the end of the day it’s a 500hp twin turbo inline 6. Yes there are cars that sound better and some that sound worse. It’s a solid car true to the BMW M heritage. Side note that’s why I build an E36 M3 for the pure inline 6 experience.
