For context to everyone else this version of Izanami is *technically* a bit stronger than the release version due to having unnerfed meteor, triple headed ghost peak strike out of OD and I think some other stuff. It was lacking the overdrive super variants and timestop still was left unable to deal killing blows but those are about the only downsides I think. Honestly the parry spam is necessary to win probably

That Counter can control the flow of a fight, especially if you're opponent relies too much of overwhelming you with attacks. She could have killed you at any point, but that Time stop wouldn't have fixed anything in the end, and even if she tried to attack you, once again, that counter ensures that her greed was kept in check
