That's because there's a lot of bad tutorials out here and heavy filters. Don't apply your foundation with a sponge, apply with your fingers and get it 90% even then start blending it with a sponge. Alternatively, go for the light and low coverage options such as skin tint. They are much more forgiving in terms of blending and shade selection. Also don't need to add sculpting to the face after to still look real

Southeast Asian here left chat too. At least my generation!! We only wear lips balm in high-shool lolz 😅😅 , girl who really into makeup beauty or she’s girly type wear it. Mostly girl in my generation do their hair to changing style if feel bored. My highshool generation is 2002-2005s My Niece born 2007s, she in highshool now & only wear blush + lip gloss/lip balm in shools. if you wear bold makeup you get to wipe off. its shools rules!!
