In case you weren't just joking on the fool's day, you should know that Freaked and Myra Breckinridge are owned by Disney and therefore it's impossible for Vinegar Syndrome to release them. It was pointless to ever request those movies.

I truly love ❤the ‘collectors’ that immediately put their ultra limited edition of so and so on eBay for like triple the price they just bought it for. Killing the business is what that does. Ask Funko about that….

VS are masters at manufacturing artificial collectibility. They took movies that you used to be able to find in a $20 Mill Creek 50 movie box sets, put a slipcover on them and sold them at $25-$35 apiece and if that’s not enough, now they’ve actually convinced people to buy shit having absolutely no clue what it is! That’s next level salesmanship. I applaud their efforts in film conservation preservation, but at the same time, they’ve turned physical media into baseball cards and Funko Pops.

From $6 in 2022 to $10 in 2023 to $24 in 2024. VSMC slipcovers went from $10 in points in 2023 to $15 in 2024. Do you think the cost of paper went up that much in 2 years? Nope, they're just greedy pigs. (Funny, when something bombs, they know how to drop the price.) I hope they keep hiking their prices every single year until the only customers they have left are scalpers who immediately flip it all for 5 times the price they sold it for, because that's what they deserve for the contemptible way they treat their customers.

Now that you mention slipcoves:‼Stop! to Re-Print slips, you are DESTROYING COLLECTABILITY!!! Respect collectors that helped you in the past to raise your label to become what you are now! WHEN SOMETHING IS SOLD OUT SHOULD NOT REPRINTED AGAIN!!! ‼A slap in the face to all collectors who brought in the past thinking that your movies were truly LIMITED editions but are not! because You're-Printing More! 😡 Pure Greed !!!
