In this REV Rides tutorial we show you how to bleed the brakes on a VSETT 10 +. Reasons for needing to bleed your brakes include:
The brake lever feeling spongy and not firm.
When it takes longer than usual for your scooter to stop.
If you have a leak anywhere in the brake lines and need to re-fill the brake fluid.
If your brake pads are worn out and you replace them.

As a bicycle mechanic for over 20 years this video is pretty good however I highly advise removing the brake pads any bit of mineral oil contamination into the pads will pretty much destroy them and cause your brakes to not work as well or squeal like a banshee.

@@traviseller3770 Hi Travis, just curious, any thoughts on what model of MAGURA e-MTB brakes would be a great upgrade for the Vsett 10+ ? I have 2 Vsett 10+ and one of them Ive upgraded the brakes with the SHIMANO MT200 brake kit, I'd like to go one further with my other scooter using Magura. Thank you.

If you want a quick and easy temporary fix I have found that you can get a massage gun and go ham on the lines to get the trapped air to the top instead of removing the whole caliper. I figured out that it does a good enough job to last you about a year and it takes exponentially less time the less handy you are with tools. I happen to have all the tools I could ever need but I don’t want to spend 2 hours bleeding brakes then realigning everything alongside the chance of stripping and losing screws (just how it is for me).

Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos brother, but my question is after you have removed and placed back the break when you go back up to the handlebar should you opening clothes or should I say squeeze the lever a bunch of times to make sure that there aren’t any more bubbles? I’m just asking I’m not trying to teach because I’m learning from you.

Can you guys make a video on how to fix wheel wobbles. Thank you
@RevRides360
@RevRides360 Ай бұрын
Hey there! Here's some tips on fixing wheel wobbles: 1. Have your air pump ready - we're about to deflate and re-inflate the tire. 2. Fully deflate the tire. 3. Using your hands, grab the "base" of the tire where it meets the rim, and massage the tire. The goal here is to loosen the tire from the rim in hopes that it'll seat straighter. 4. Repeat this process all around the tire. 5. Inflate the tire enough to feel the pressure, but where you can still massage the bead of the tire. 6. At this pressure, repeat steps 3 and 4. 7. Fully inflate the tire and give it a spin.

You should bleed your brakes if you're finding your brakes aren't very responsive, which is usually caused by air bubbles in the hydraulic system. Bleeding the brakes is the process of removing these air bubbles to ensure effective hydraulic compression and restoring the responsiveness of the brakes.
