Brilliant, this is such nostalgia for me. We used to buy little plastic ones like this called gogo's with our pocket money at primary school in the 70's lol

My cousin had a plastic Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble toy in the 1960’s that worked exactly like this (a “stone” was the weight). I have search for an example of the toy - thank you for sharing !!

So there's this legend in china where a super awesome craftsman, like better than anyone else in the world, created some wooden ox cart where the ox was made of wood, i don't know the purpose of it, but it could walk but there was never a second example of it, i don't know now if these kind of toys can be considered the same because i read somewhere that the wooden ox cart could carry people
