This was me when I first got into producing with ROMplers. Once I learned how to use Vital and Arturia Pigments I havent touched any of the ROMplers I wasted hundreds of dollars on.

Local bands say “get ready, big things coming”. Then release a song recorded through a Scarlett solo, neural dsp gojira, and GGD.

We do this.

As long as the result is good who cares how it's produced?

Those are one of the best sounding plugins out there imo and I have used a lot. I see so many producers with the most expensive gear and still manage to make shitty sounding songs. Hehe cheers.

I bought most of plugins when i was starting getting into mixing and had no clue , the more i learned the less that need and Insecurity went away, the plugins i bought and i use very often are maybe 10-15 of them (including vst instruments) everything else are just there and get digital dust 😅

This is largely how it works, but the sad reality is that most people will not be that good at recording, so they get into this dead end cycle where they burn literally thousands of dollars trying to find plugins that can make up for skill, knowledge and judgment and it just won't happen. It's a shame! It's true, the better you get the less you end up using! lol
