So glad to see my Marching Pirates headed back to greatness, Lord knows we have struggled long enough. The new Pirates are just getting started baby...keep building to greatness, look at footage of our band in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's ..we WERE A FORCE in the CIAA and MEAC. Ya'll made us alumni extremely proud that night. Let's go baby! Ahoy!! P.S. VSU...don't try to play our fanfare again....thanks ;)

I skipped over the sectionals, Hamptons arrangements and song selection destroyed both bands there. Vstate home crowd had no choice but to applaud and sing along.

Calvin Howard I was accused there. Hampton had more bass to accommodate their arrangements. Plus VState arranges great music. I enjoyed all bands. The only why the crowd signed along because It was a famous song that everyone loves. Hampton program is rising but I wouldn’t say the murdered V State.

I was there and they all sound much better in person even though I was behind them. VUU is extremely impressive but Hampton is too strong for the others. I had a ball though.

HU timing was way off, they had the best dance team. Clarity and sound went to Union. VSU has the over all talent, precision, and percussion. VSU 1, Union 2, HU 3.
