Couchsurfed on this island in 2007, very beautiful, did not get to ferry to the smaller islands becuase of bad weather, but plan to go back some day.

I look forward to visiting the Okinawan archipelago just as soon as our governments end their hysterical obsession with Covid and population control and international travel restrictions are lifted. @@VSV_Japan Hello, I just returned to England from Ishigaki and wanted to thank you again; your videos gave me a simple, sturdy awareness of the town centre/port areas geography and now I watch videos like this and just coo over my lovely memories. What a top holiday destination. Everybody ought to go to Ishigaki, it's so fantastic.

I will upload another video shot in Taketomi island which is only 15 mins away from the ferry terminal shown at the end of this video. I hope you will like the video too because that’s my most favorite island of all islands in Okinawa! 😁

I've been to Ishigaki twice in March 2019 and July 2019. Now finally I can go back after the covid restrictions in about 5 days 😊 I'm from Italy but I love Okinawa so much and I've been to Okinawa Islands more than 20 times :)

I'm glad you like Okinawa too! Did you go to Taketomi Island as well when you went to Ishigaki? Taketomi is my favorite island and if you haven't visited yet, I highly recommend it. It's like this. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/icl0hayByK-9fnk.html

When I shot this video, I visited Taketomi and Hateruma. I'd like to visit Miyako some day but I heard it's become very commercialized. Taketomi is my all time best island so far. I loved it so much that I shot this video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/icl0hayByK-9fnk.html 😄😄😄

I cant get over how much Ishigaki looks just like Taiwan!! Well Taiwan is close anyways so😄 Great video

@@VSV_Japan There used to be a ferry service from Keelung Taiwan to Ishigaki and Okinawa back in early 2002-03. No longer available...

@@bruceyoung3147 The distance between Taiwan to Ishigaki is much shorter than Ishigaki to main land Japan. So it's a shame it's no longer available. If it still were, I would definitely like to visit Taiwan whenI go to Ishigaki! 😄

沖縄の本土より南西に400キロも離れていますから気温も相当高いでしょう。東京の6月頃に相当するでしょう。最後のブロンズ像は具志堅用高さんですね。

夜はかなり涼しくて気持ちが良いんですが、昼間はかなり日焼けしました！ただメチャクチャ暑いってわけではなく、全体的に過ごし易い気温でしたよ！ご視聴ありがとうございます！PS：最後の像はそうです！具志堅用高さんの記念碑ですよ〜！😄
