I’m korean one thing people should know is we use this because we don’t really do micro needling in asia so if you use this it is best you don’t do micro needling too also one thing people should know is korean skincare products is generally less harsh than western skincare so make sure after this it is best not to layer on harsh products afterwards but use something smoothing (I had not used to yet but I think maybe I will be interested in the future because this is a newer product and I feel like there is not enough tests done for it now so I think I will wait a bit later if I decide to use it or not

Wdym there isn't enough tests done? Idk why you people are dumb, and those who believe it's dangerous, if it's helping people with severe skin issues then it's safe and good enough! The company also reached out and said they tested it on human skin for a while duh, and they said there was a decrease of pores by 30% ish. Why wouldn't the company test on human skin before. So many people online have tested it for their skin too and said it's great. The company has also came out with all the answers to all these dumb questions from 'doctors' and 'skintologists' bla bla.

I was waiting for this video! While I wouldn't say that this system is something to be scared of when used sparingly, I'm more surprised there are some 'biomicroneedling' in-office treatments using this delivery system, where the needles are massaged in super forcefully - I would say that those treatments have a higher chance of penetrating to the dermis, and causing that foreign body reaction
@Moskinlab
@Moskinlab 4 ай бұрын
Definitely not scary but the risk is way different than other penetration enhancement technologies, for me personally I wouldn’t use it because encapsulation and other formulation technologies can perform well and with much lower number of risks, the image of the in clinic treatment is giving me nightmares and segni the risk is way higher with that 👌🏻

I've been using VT 700 on my face (after trying out VT 300) out of desperation because even the highest percentage bleaching cream wasn't getting rid of hyperpigmentation on one of my temples and PIH from acne in other places. I previously spent $1750 on Halo Laser in February, which left me red and swollen for 4 days with very noticeable improvement after. So, VT 700 has been a blessing for me because it turns my skin into a sponge that readily absorbs actives that could not previously penetrate deep into the epidermis. For me, this product is a life saver and will continue to use it. But VT 700 is strong and when I used it in other parts of my body to target hyperpigmented spots, it caused a rash that I treated with hydrocortisone. So, use this product judiciously and start with the lower doses and build tolerance.

I LOVE the VT Reedle shot (I use the 300). Baby smooth skin, reduces redness, and zero irritation (and I have sensitive rosacea prone skin). I much prefer it to chemical exfoliators, which I’ve always found to be somewhat irritating. The Reedles are Microscopic, and the cream does not have any particles in it that you can feel. It also sinks into the skin fairly quickly, so I doubt it’s possible to do damage by “scrubbing too hard”. Obviously, it’s not for everyone. And I can totally understand some folks being hesitant to try it. But there’s a reason it’s a viral product, and that’s because it works really well. I’ve tried a ton of skincare, and this has impressed me most in terms of living up to its claims. I think the main risk is that, because the Reedle Shot IS so effective, some people might be tempted to use the product improperly or too frequently. And, obviously, that would be an issue. But those are the same “more is better” people who think aggressive exfoliation or excessive AHA/BHA use is a good idea…

This delivery system is new to me, and I'm very surprised, like "why would people use marine sponge spicules to puncture their skin on purpose"-surprised. Could the micro-damage caused by the abrasion increase penetration because of a loosening of the epidermis due to the release of proinflammatory cytokines that should facilitate the movement of our immune cells? Has the pro-inflammatory action been tested, like the release of interleukins and TNFa?

There is no data on what happens to the pickles that have been applied in droves to the skin!!! I don’t care how smooth it might make my skin, I wouldn’t risk the product as much as touching my skin. Checking FAQ on VT website, says that the spicules will just fall off with dead skin, which was what Dr. Dray said would "probably" happen in theory too. But they didn't include any studies or source for this claim, and they didn't mention any risk of silica granuloma. Also reading some blogs some people say they could feel an uncomfortable tingling and needles even after washing off the product and after a few weeks of stopping the usage
@ChelseaChfy-ex1po

@AdrianMartinez-cb5zi “Feeling” needles a few weeks after use is just them psyching themselves out because they heard “horror” stories about it. These are people that are easily susceptible to suggestion. I bet a billion bucks that if such people never heard anything negative about the product they would keep using it and not “feel” any needles for weeks afterwards 🙄

@@ChelseaChfy-ex1po Yes! You’re right! there are people susceptible to suggestion. But you don’t need to hear or feel anything negative now by using the product because is proven that the condition of foreign-body (silica) granuloma can take years to appear, you can use the product in your 20’s without side effects and foreign-body (silica) granuloma may appear in your 50’s, 60’s… In the FAQ’s the VT brand itself says that spicules fall off with dead skin, and the concerns of Dr. Dray are that they don’t provide the studies and sources to make that claim; the risk of developing foreign-body (silica) granuloma in the future. The studies and results provided are more focused on the positive results and don’t include any info about what happen with the spicules at the end. So, if we applied the product daily, how we can be sure and trust that 100% of spicules applied fell off and some percentage didn’t penetrate the skin during the process?

So, if we apply the product daily, how we can be sure and trust that 100% of spicules applied fell off and some percentage didn’t penetrate the skin during the process? Think about chemical filters in sunscreens. Some chemical filters that are supposed to stay on top of your skin according to studies can be found in bloodstream and urine. How we can be sure that spicules didn’t penetrate the skin and develop foreign-body (silica) granuloma in the future?

The company say it last 3 days on the skin after usage and some studies (animal studies) show it last a week after usage, it doesn’t dissolve it just shed off with dead skin cells

beyond safety which seems questionable, is it effective? how could one be certain about the position of those needles? I so wanna hit unfollow on every account I see promoting this serum ignorantly...
@Moskinlab
@Moskinlab 4 ай бұрын
The studies on this delivery system all showed promising results but the issue with this delivery system is something similar to plant extracts each supplier might produce different size of micro needles which means differ efficacy and safety profile, also a couple of studies used those needles with the conventional delivery systems like liposoms and encapsulation so the added benefit of those needles could be be a tiny boost 🤷

@@Moskinlab thank you for replying but drinking water thing really worries me. that is a human risk. we already have issues in our water system. all those polyester or nylon garments we wash, those tiny micro fibers are not getting filtered and we are basically drinking those fibers. we are suppose to wash them in a special wash bag but i highly doubt people know about this.. anyway thank you.

This might be weird to say, but I don't think your thumbnails are doing you any favors. This is the first video I watch from you and you seem very kind, informative and honest, which is great! Your face in your thumbnails looks kind of aggressive, like your looking for a fight, and I don't think it will attract the kind of viewers that would appreciate your content In any case, thanks for doing all this work, and good luck!

Actually I think I got the "foreign body reaction" after the 2nd use. I used it in the evening and the very next day I had this kind of hard lump, like a big under-skin pimple near my right jaw line. I think I applied too much pressure maybe. So far it has only shrinked a little. Now I'm wary to use the Reedle Shot again.🥲
