I really like Raden. I was thinking about this the other day. How she came out as a rough rider with no filter and ended up being kinda high society as a former teacher explaining art regularly. Plus ReGLOSS always says she's the super cute one IRL which didn't seem to fit that initial image. And Ao in this same stream talking about how she was supposed to be super cool and suave and then turned out to be a bit of a sweet goofball instead. I'm glad it seems like they're okay with evolving and not being boxed in by their initial concepts.

My uncle smoked for over 20 years of his life before he called it quits. The hardest thing to do is to break that habit but hearing Raden stop is really good for her long term health. Her personality is unique enough even without it so she shouldn't worry so much.

Ah, Raden being so high-class and artsy that she got official art museum accounts watching her. Suffering from Success. I mean, she did have a collab video with the Shosoin Treasure House last month (was only up for 24 hours before it was deleted as scheduled), which also had the cooperation of the Nara National Museum and the Imperial Household Agency Shosoin Office. They're all rather esteemed cultural agencies, and I imagine Raden might get more in the future if she keeps it up.

Smoking or no, gambling or no, drinking or no, Raden will always be a precious bean. I hope that more museums notice her.

Normally I'd say that you should not give up what you enjoy -- but in this case it's much more detrimental to be reliant on something that's addictive and not to mention destructive to your long term health. So good for her.

That's actually amazing! My uncle was a heavy smoker and after my other uncle passed away he decided to stop smoking and drinking alcohol, after some months, he became a much happier person. So I'm really happy for Raden!

So this is the fear of turning away someone you hold in high esteem because of your true habits? Easy to brush it off as "I wouldn't worry about it" but it can be a bit of a sore spot for folks in hololive to have an audience change or diverge because of that. For Raden I think she'll be alright, she's been using her freedom to great effect and her direction on this has been interesting so far. Doesn't have anything to do with the smoking or not smoking IMO, she's probably been busy or mindful of her health since she had to miss the Sports Fest.

I’m glad she gave up smoking. An addiction, especially one influenced by chemical stimuli like nicotine, can be really hard to break but I’m glad she’s doing it. Lots of us have experiences with relatives having struggles with some form of addiction and it never feels good to watch that. I’m glad she’s doing her best for her health.

Raden is really just one of those VTubers that I can't help but adore. But it's great that she quit smoking for over two months already. It gave her an opportunity to transition her character's identity, and though it will be challenging for Raden, I'm really looking forward to see how things will go for her from here on out.

As a tobacco enjoyer I feel less represented, but I'm glad she's doing what she thinks is best. That said, vices were hardly Raden-sensei's only points of interest. No one else in the vtubing world is as into art or rakugo. Raden-sensei is a blessing for whom I am very grateful.

Raden shouldn’t worry too much about what she does on stream. The museums already love her and they want to get all types of people going to museums, so I don’t think any of the ideas she has rattling around in her brain should be an issue. Especially if her wildest idea at the moment is to recite train lines while burping lol (that might be the tamest thing to be streamed in recent times). Also because of her, I’m going to one of the museums she recommended when I’m in Japan next week so she’s already done a good job promoting for free 😊

I really love Raden . When she explained different art I was amazed how knowledgeable she is and her experience going to a restaurant where Van Gogh often goes, it’s a real first for me to see a vtuber who really has taste for the fine arts. And I happy she stopped smoking

Raden is an amazing individual and I'm confident that she'll find a place where she streams what she wants and enjoys herself. Debuts are always a challenging time and most vtubers make changes along the way as they develop a channel and community. I'm happy to Raden hasn't smoked in two months and that she hasn't been able to gamble too much either. I haven't really smoked in a decade and never gambled, and I'm definitely better off because of it. I still drink too much but that's a work it progress. Raden is still fairly young so I hope she can gain control if it is a problem for her. I'm loving Raden though and I think she will find her spot within Hololive where she does her thing and her viewers adore her. I loved Marine's line of: "Once you're in, you're one of us." I think Raden has a lot of support behind her between the senpai's and management. Hololive has the pillars and OG's that worked their asses off to accomplish what they have and it's amazing to see. Thankfully she got into this agency with so many resources and people to help her out if she is struggling. Heck Mio-mama is probably already working on things and ideas after her vtuber mama radar went off and she realized that one of her kohai's might need a little guidance.

I can only see how much she wants to continue, y'know, being Juufutei Raden. Worrying about getting kicked out, is understandable. This is one disadvantage of starting big. The pressure builds up. Again, I don't know what happens behind the scene but I do hope she had a proper talk with a senior, a friend or parents about this. Wven if nothing comes out of it, just talking about it helps more than we think. And, forgetting about individualily, I'm glad that she hasn't been smoking recently. So I think she will be fine. She might lost certain individuality by stop smoking, but it's not like she'll be undistinguishable just by losing that. She's just too interesting for that.

As someone who smokes also, it's kinda sad losing a smoking friend but I am genuinely happy if she can stop since it's a bad habit that might break your body slowly. I know it's kinda contradicting, but hearing her moving in a better direction, I feel glad and hope for the best for her. Hopefully I can stop smoking too someday.

I'm happy hearing she's been doing well so far and was kinda surprised she has lasted 2 months so far. It's really hard if she has been at it for years but if she can do it a while longer she will be a lot healthier.
