After watching the lore video for zzz, I have theorized that Professor Arche is the MCs teacher, hence why their interest in being able to investigate the hollow zero legally and also why they didn't tell fairy what their objective was there. Also, Phaeton which is their name, just so happens to be the son of Helios in Greek mythology. And Professor Arche founded the Helios academy. Coincidence? I think not!

Massive Honkai vibes with this one, let's gooo. I've seen people say that Hoyo "confirmed" ZZZ isn't part of the Honkai cosmology contrary to how they treat their previous titles, but this really puts that into question, and I haven't seen anyone provide a source of the claim 🤔 Unless they simply wanted to reuse the designs as a reference more than anything else, it's fine either way. The whole setup in the trailer is a very common theme in Hoyo games. The number 7 comes up a lot in most games either directly or inderectly, as well as a group of heroes of bygone era being crucial to the story. 2:35 since they mention "how are her descendants doing" and all that stuff with the past era, it's clear this isn't Miyabi but her ancestor. And after looking up Miyabi's CN va, she is voiced by Yae Sakura's va, who is also an animal-eared swordsmaster in Honkai series (with Yae Miko in GI being Sakura's expy but I don't like that interpritation of the character). The fact that Sakura is as minor of a character as they go, them making Miyabi's ancestor a backbone of Eridu's survival is really interesting... 2:45 *sniffle* look at her, they did our daughter so good, our beloved Tuna . Sunbringer is heavily inspired by Kiana Kaslana, THE face and true child of Mihoyo, main character of every Mihoyo game from 2011 to 2016, and has an expy in GI too. I really wonder when will either HI3 Kiana or an expy appear in HSR, since ZZZ is already revealing a Kiana expy. 3:15 Raiden Mei and Elysia expy moment. Not sure if the robot guy meant to be Project Bunny or Svarog expy or just an original character (could be a pilot inside to allow Bronya expy for all we know). And a bunch of AIs being important is also very HI3/GGZ thing to do, although you could say it's literally any run of the mill sci-fi title trademark, haha. Can't wait to see if the characters have any similarities in personality and story roles outside the feats mentioned in the video, to the ones they are based on, or just a visual callback to hype up the OG fans. Sunbringer better be playable, that's all I'm saying.

For the sources about no connections: "Fans of Honkai Star Rail, another HoYoverse game, may be familiar with this name since it shares the name of an important place in version 1.0 - Belobog, a city located in Jarilo-VI. Are these two connected in any way? Curious, we spoke to HoYoverse video game producer Zhenyu Li (李振宇) about this apparent naming coincidence and what it means for ZZZ. While we do have Genshin Impact’s Aloy from the old crossover with Horizon, some ‘expy’ characters that share names and similar features across Genshin, HI3, and HSR, and a few small pop-up events and crossover items such as the KFC wings in Genshin, collaboration with other games and media is pretty scarce in Hoyoverse’s games. As such, we had to ask whether there were any plans for ZZZ crossovers in the future and whether there are any specific games or anime Li and the ZZZ team would like to do. @@spieds9994 Yo, thanks a bunch. If you'll allow me to put my conspiracy hat on and bear with me, since the question was about connection between Belobogs, of course he'd reply with no. It's the same deal as GGZ Mei and HI3 Mei not being related, same for Shogun and Acheron for example. given the exact quote "no relation between the TWO" really implies he only meant no DIRECT connection between ZZZ and Star Rail, but wouldn't necessarily imply it's not part of the overall cosmology that is doing it's own thing unrelated to the other games 🤔 Whether or not ZZZ is it's own universe, or just a world in the grander Honkai-verse like GGZ, GI and HSR that won't be related to them in any way apart from concepts and designs, I'm excited to see what the do with the story all the same. Funnily enough, I didn't really expect them to have any expys to begin with, so the trailer really caught me off guard haha.

The difference with Belobog and Character examples is that Belobog is not an original creation, it's the name of a Russian God and both things that use that name in HSR and ZZZ are based on Russia in some way. So it's much more likely to be coincidence then real decisio Honestly, if you take out the eyes on Sun Bringer, the design reminds me of Arknights much more, and the pink hair with butt-wings reminded me of Jibril from No game No life
