I was actually really impressed with how quickly he learned the patterns while fighting Margit and Godrick though. Especially since its his first Souls game.

This is definitely a personality showcase, you can see their unique gameplay and styles fighting boss. I love how Kuzuha is the one that goes from behind and buttstabs it first xD. Then proceeds to slash and dodge without wanting to be even a meter away from it Luca and Kanae tho. They are.. quite, bold 草

It is true, Tree sentinel is a newbie beater and a very good introduction in the game about how difficult this game can be. The thing is that when you are not accustomed to a game where it needs a fast reaction, you will die a lot in any FromSoftware games.

The easiest and most obvious one is his charge attack Just roll towards where is going to end up (usually at the back) and with that you get 1 charged attack or some free hit

A friend of mine really want to get his weapons, he assumed that you get the halberd and the shield, though he only got the halberd he was happy because it's a big Stat stick

In any FromSoftware game, they give you false hope that a shield can block any attack. But in reality, it penalizes you heavily.

The most impressive unleveled tree sentinel kills I've seen yet are Miko and Flare. Miko because she doesn't really seem to have much base skill, but set up such a perfectly orchestrated strategy that she managed a perfect 0 hit kill in just about 4 hours. Flare because she beat him in a single sitting of 9 hours (7 just for the sentinel) without any sign of frustration.
