You gotta be. Look at bands where member hate each other. Yeah they still get up there and play but there is no infectious joy. In a dynamic like theseguys, you feel the same joy they exhibit. And the muic is just so much better when it's real and organic.

I feel like all Vulfpeck concert are structured to feature Joe as the 'main' character. In the beginning they only 'show his potential', and it builds during the concert up to his frenzy in Beastly which is then contained to perfection for the finale. After all, he's the only one who does not stop playing for even a minute. Amazing.

It's a conscious choice fo sho, and smart marketing by Jack (on brand lol). They all monsters but the rhythm section of a funk band is always the backbone and Joe is the definitive 'back pocket' of groove at all times.

@@robertforgaci9427 yeah that was an epic moment, but that whole set was memorable as fuck. They played the flecktones version of stomping ground and Sierra fucking Hull came out to play mandolin. She didn’t sing but I was ecstatic getting to hear her play. Also, shirtless Theo doing give it away, sledgehammer, and Holy hell HANSON jamming around I want you back. Bonnaroo superjams are always legendary but that show was next level. I vote they do whatever they can to get Cory Wong to host the superjam every year.

The whole tent singing sledgehammer, then shirtless Theo coming out to absolutely kill give it away, and Hanson doing I want you back. Also apparently tal wilkenfeld was on that stage? I play bass and am a huge fan of hers but I was so high and mind blown by everything else going on that I didn’t even see her. What the fuck dude I’ve seem hundreds of amazing top tier shows but now I will always be comparing every live show I see for the rest of my life to the Cory Wong Superjam. Happy Roo everybody and I look forward to seeing you all on the farm next year.

So I was here for this in person and they saved me lol I took some mushrooms and the trip was going south. Kendrick Lamar was playing the stage next to them and he’s great but wow that was intense due to my fungi friends. However as vulfpeck took the stage everything changed! Thanks vulfpeck for truly the best live performance I have ever seen! I’ll never forget it!

I live in TN near Gatlinburg and have even made work trips out to Manchester. I had no idea Vulf was doing a major concert there, or I would've tried to go. Don't think I would have been able to regardless but I feel like this was a major missed opportunity now :(

I’ve been listening to vulfpeck for 7-8 years now, but this video is my first time seeing them perform in at least 3 years, GODDAMN it feels like they’re in their prime right now. This is the best live show I’ve seen in KZfaq all year. It feels so weird that years ago I was buying the “zzz” record so they could tour for free, and now they’re selling out msg and drawing huge crowds at bonnaroo. I only found them in the first place bc I have a speech impediment so a friend sent me stuff about antwuan going from speech therapist to vulf❤️❤️❤️

How gangster is it the newlyweds can tell everyone that Theo Katzman conducted the ceremony to wed them. Giving them like 10 minutes out of one of the best vulf sets of all time. You can't not love vulfpeck, their love and energy is infectious.

One of the best concerts I've been to. It was 2017 and my daughter and I took a road trip from Utah to Denver to see them at the Ogden theater the night before their big show at Red Rocks. The venue held maybe 1200 and we were at the stage. It was so much fun. Daughter got the set list and got it signed by Joey and I think Antaun.
