Grew up watching Tallon Vohland race...still have a Tallon Vohland action figure toy. #711 Lots of talent in that family. Got trained by Tyson for a while.

I got to meet Max’s dad back In 1987 at the Ponca City National. I was 7 years old with a broken leg. He was the nicest guy.

oh yeah usually its august and in the 90's with tons of humidity. It's an awesome shot, at the beginning, of the rolling hills. You can see just how much humidity is in the air

Max reminds me of myself when I was his age, but about a million times faster. Lanky and chicken legged as hell, so there's not a pair of boots on earth that won't flop around loose at the top.

Amature national but the kid has a factory semi and a factory team supporting him. Seems a bit unfair to me.

He got the ride because he was the best in the class/age group. He was still the best in his classes before the factory ride and when they were paying for stuff out of their own pockets

Sorry, but not sorry. Vohland doesn't impress me too much. Definitely not factory status racer. I'm seeing privateer racers that deserve that spit more than him.
