Bajcetic is the same age as Neves and they both play in the same position as well. Don't think is wise to spend 120 million euros to buy what we already have in my opinion

We can't rely on Bajcetic though with the injuries he has had so far he could be one of these players that gets injured all the time and if we are going to challenge we need someone in that DM role. Endo done a decent job but he is 31 and he isn't the long term answer for us. I hope I'm wrong because I really like Bajcetic but he is still very young and learning.

@@TheKailoon1 he missed all of last season through injury and he missed the end of the season before due to injury also. Yes it's too early to say if he is going to be constantly getting injured but its not looking great so far is it and if we want to challenge for the premier league we can't rely on him at his age with his injury record so far it would be too much of a risk.

Regardless of whether or not Darwin ends up getting fined and banned, Giminez (Uruguayan captain) summed it up really well in the post-match interview. If you haven’t seen it yet, look it up. He absolutely lays into the organizers for not protecting the Uruguayan player’s families and tears into the Colombian supporters who harassed and went after the Uruguayan player’s families. The reality is anyone who actually cares about their family members would have done the exact same thing. Particularly if the police and security were doing nothing about it. This is a situation where Darwin will likely face consequences but anyone with real world reality perspective knows that they would have done the exact same thing if their family and friends were being harassed and attacked.

Being the Liverpool and Netherlands captain must be weighing on VVD. I wonder if we offer him to step down from his Liverpool captaincy to focus on his play. We could use the vacancy then to keep TAA with a contract renewal along with VVD. We could even offer Mo the vice captain but I would rather that go to McAllister or Endo(depending if he plays as much).

Yeh I'm not convinced by any of the CBs. Guehi too expensive, yoro off to Madrid, Pacho/Hincapie don't know enough, calafiori off to arsenal, Antonio Silva being prone to a serious bozo. Neves is a generational talent who Madrid haven't bid for. Seems like a no brainer signing to me, a RW maybe

Klopp should take the USA job. There’s no downsides he’d get paid top dollar, get all the American media PR and hype like Messi. One of the problems is that in the States, they don't understand the rivalries that South American teams have. Just because we speak Spanish doesn't mean we like each other. The fight had already started on the field. Luis Suarez had attacked a colombian player for celebrating. For days, the Uruguayan press, former and a few current players didn't want to discuss this match because Colombia was beneath them. They only wanted to talk Argentina.

The same could be said about a few other liverpool players but they came through in the end and I think the same will happen with Darwin... he is a very interesting player and brings a lot to the team if he was to get his shooting and goal scoring on point then he could be a very dangerous player he has the pace the skills just needs to work on the goal scoring then he would be a very dangerous player

Sadly Uruguay got out of the cup because Darwin missed three "easy" chances. Copa America for Diaz on an individual level has not been extraordinary. It may be unpopular opinion but Diaz and Darwin are not good enough for Liverpool. No club is going to pay 80M for Darwin. LFC lost that investment.
