The Russian VVER-1200 (NPP-2006 or AES-91) is the version currently offered for export. It is an evolution of the VVER-1000 with increased power output to about 1200 MWe (gross) and providing additional passive safety features. The PSAR (Preliminary Safety Analysis Safety Report) of model 392M under construction at the Novovoronezh NPP-II is used for developing and benchmark of the PCTRAN simulator.

Thank you so much sir In which condition the containment building will fail, and how much radioactivity will disperse into environment in that case can we calculate that from this software?

Yes, PCTRAN calculates radiological releases source terms from possible 4 pathways - namely the containment boundary, auxiliary building off-gas stack, steam line relief valves, and the turbine building. We have another software RadPuff to process its dispersion according to the real-time meteorological condition such as wind speed and direction. Its demo is also provided on this site.

Sir, I have a question. What does it mean by failure fraction and what is the method of assigning that value?

For example, Malfunction No. 2 in PWR is cold leg break. Failure fraction 100% is 100 cm2 break area. But it is not limited to 100%. A larger 1000% is 1000 cm2 break, etc.

If you choose No. 1 for a hot leg break failure fraction of 100%, it is defined as 100 cm2 size, 50% is 50 cm2, 200% is 200 cm2, etc. The coolant discharge rate is calculated according to the critical flow model. Other fractions are defined as instructed.

Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Reactor Safety (VARANS) and Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) of Bangladesh have got license to use PCTRAN/VVER for training and education of their staff and students. You may attend either of these two institutions or request your government officials to acquire similar license for your institution.

We are providing it as a business. In the past, IAEA has supported Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Egypt's national agencies to acquire it. You may ask your government to pay for it or get some international sources, too.

How can I generate Isotope data for a certain Accident?

You have to set a release path for your accident. For LOCA if the containment is intact, i.e. with a failure, there is little but still calculated release via its design limit,. For others, each has its designated path such as auxiliary building vent, turbine building contaminated steam, etc. Very sophisticated and detail data

yes, it's already available for remote access education. Teachers and students at separate locations can control its operations simultaneously.

@@TheMax0005 Nuclear reactor requires heavy shielding to protect its operator's safety. Back in the 60s there were designs by the Soviets. None materialize so far.
