Bruce is a legend - intelligent, articulate and funny.

I can only reconfirm yet again the tremendously high esteem to which I hold this complex, mature, charistmatic and utterly COOL man. As for the BBC interviewer: for God's sake, do you really think being patronising with and speaking over your guests will make anyone really buy into the sophisticated image you are trying to portray for yourself?!

I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce when he flew a load of us to Iceland in 2005,the man is an absolute gentleman!he flew us there,did the gig and flew us back.The term legend is used to frequently these days but in his case it’s true.

I have met Bruce on several occasions and used to live above a pub that Nicko drank in. I was also a manager in a pub in New Southgate,London when the band came into play "Crystal Maze" on the video machine and I can tell you they are the most approachable and nice guys all round. Bruce is a true gent and will give anyone the time of day, just don't take the piss.

He is so enthusiastic, confident and confident. The interviewer is just doing her job. If it were me, I would not ask the hard questions as I am a fan.

I am sorry, I must retract my prior comment about Bruce being brilliant. I had only watched half the video, and spoke too soon. Going off "half-cocked" as it were... ( that's a reference to guns/rifles that used a flint firing.. ahh... nevermind that ). Anyway, yes - I said " Bruce is a brilliant man ". I was wrong. Started listening to Iron Maiden since 1981. I was 10 years old. Bruce is my hero!! lol Amazing individual.

I lol'd hard when she asked him if he wished to mature the band.

I started being SERIOUSLY interested in Rock N' Roll only during 2013 because of my office mate at the time. For nearly 4 years I could not listen to Maiden's music. It was too rich in music and very moving. Until a dramatic event took place in my life in the fall of 2017. The first of their songs I got attached to is DANCE OF DEATH. There is a small boy in the plot of the song that escapes from that dance of death that was the Black Death plaguing Europe. I am still so emotionally attached to that song that when I play it I get on my knee as the boy in the song plot does. And I used to escape problems, like the boy in the plot. Maiden and their character Eddie have been so instrumental to me that I stopped running from troubles and I started facing them in 2018. In this process, Maiden also unleashed that 'trapped' boy inside my soul. And since then, that boy has also become a writer of kids' short fiction stories, among many other things that I could not even dream of a few years ago. Regarding Bruce's business ideas, I think it is laudable. Others have succeeded in this. One name that springs to mind is Niki Lauda. The world needs big companies, no doubt about this. But the world needs more entrepreneurs who start small with bold ideas and then change the games.

I spent my childood listening to the first 7 albums of iron maiden ( I quit after fear of the dark). And listening to this man today ( i'm 36 now) everything makes sense. Now I know that that weird energy that this man was giving me at the time, was true, still is today.

For the record, I don't listen to any other music apart from what HE creates either. ^^ I love Bruce, to my ears he has the most amazing voice, and he also has a great character and personality that comes across in all his work, interviews, and everything he does.

Instead of bragging he wrote a song that captures his emotions while flying (Coming Home... "stretched the fingers of my hands, covered countries with my span" is a powerful line)

I did find the interrupting slightly annoying but I'm glad she did it. Bruce clearly has a lot to say on many things but given that most of his interviews are solely about music (with the occasional WOW you're a pilot/author/fencer too!? bit) it was good of her to move him along and cover the range of topics. I would love to interview Bruce, from this it seems like we would disagree on some 'world issues' but he's also very insightful and thoughtful.

He's actually making some excellent points and voicing very interesting opinions, 'simplistic' and 'uneducated' are certainly 2 things Bruce Dickinson is not

She interrupts him because the show has a time limit, and there other things shes wants to ask him. Also, Bruce is a really good talker who tends to go into tightly knit details about what ever he is discussing, which is awesome! He is a very intelligent guy. What really needs to happen is that he needs to do a 2 hour documentary called: Bruce Can Do It Better for Cheaper! He is correct, the governments of both the US and UK, are black holes, laced with corruption. Nothing new really, it's just how human nature plays out. The civilized world is just going through what Rome went through (history repeats). It's just happening at a faster pace than the 500 years for the decline of the Roman Empire. Bruce should look into running for office. He may be able to slow the decline down a bit, Lol. Up The Irons!

I like Bruce's honesty. It is is refreshing to hear a rock star admit to being a conservative instead of the usual rock start patter with them banging on about how left wing they are because it is a fashionable attitude to have at the moment and at the same time raking in millions and living in mansions.
