How much power is the 1.8t making, have the same car and trying to decide on a powerplant.

It came 150bhp or 180bhp(6 speed)from the golf from factory but very tunable plant...easy pull 300bhp...Audi tt had 180bhp and 225bhp...seat cupra 225bhp...etc

You need to stretch so to fit the wheels under the arches of the mk1with 17's, nothing to do with over playing.
