Just changed the wife GTI Mk7.5 to this new R and it's amazing just how much more refined it is, road noise it greatly reduced and the way it tackles corners is super impressive. I would agree with most the the quality of the dash and door materials have taking a dive but things that have improved is the quality and comfort of the seats. One thing I do absolutely hate though is the lane assist that always automatically turns on every single time you start the car, but apart from that it's an exceptional machine.

I have a M140i xdrive and those launch controls are even more crazy then this golfR. I have to admit this car is not so far off from mine, nice video.
