The sounds you are hearing is from a Volkswagen ID.4 that has lost communication with the system. These sounds will emit if your vehicle is not operational, like in a vehicle crash. It is to alert bystanders.
Something unique for these Electric vehicles!

My son is a mechanic at WV, sometimes they have 5 vehicles for updates at the same time 😂 This sound is driving him crazy 😅

I was working in an Audi service centre which was also next to a vw service centre and the sounds the Q4 Etron and ID4’s made were the same annoying sounds, went completely through my head lol

I remember seeig a video a while back of the ID.4 making these noises while it was updating its software. Kinda neat tbh

LOL okay I hate VWs but even I have to admit these noises its making are very cute. My guess is the car thinks it's an orca or it is communicating with aliens or Skynet and planning something sinister. Also I just read you description and turns out it was none of my predictions.

It definitely sounds like it's sending radio waves out for extra assistance! This was located at a VW Dealership and I had asked what the strange noises were from. Apparently it takes 6 hours to do a complete update....I hate Electric vehicles
