The best oil for any of these VW engines series is 5W-40

Looks like you installed the sensor with no crush washer on it. You'll probably find it leaking again. Unless your stock one was giving you false readings or leaking internally through the connector you probably just needed a new crush washer.

@@squalo777videos The OEM one from vw/ Audi has one installed. I would replace the washer because it's a crush seal. Similar to your oil pan drain plug or a banjo bolt washer. Its supposed to be there. I'm a vw master tech. Over 25 years of turning wrenches on these cars, I wouldn't lie to you papi

@@squalo777videos I think some of the sensors use an o-ring and some a crush washer depending on the sensor manufacturer or different oil filter housing. If you look up your VIN in ETKA it should give you the part number based on your engine code. 👍

@@psavel274 Thank you so much for mentioning this! I just assumed that the crush washer would come with the sensor, but called to verify, and it does not. But the parts guy said that they have them in stock, so I’m good to go. You saved me a trip back to the dealer to get the washer. Going t o get OEM. I’ve learned that using OEM parts is absolutely the way to go. Pricier, but well worth it in the end. Thanks again!

What’s that big ass silver peice called with that big ass hose. I think that might be my problem with hella oil all over it. Just so many damn lines in the way
