This delightful little Karmann Ghia has recently undergone a comprehensive restoration after a considerable lay off. It now presents beautifully and runs like the proverbial Swiss clock. It certainly was a pleasure to film.

I didn't know they exported them to down under, Sweet KG, i've had 6 of them, currently have 68 left hand drive since i'm in the US, just finished a mechanical rebuild, love driving it. good luck

Beautiful Karmann Ghia…! I have a 1971 Karmann Ghia , It is far from restored…! , but it is extremely mechanically sound. And It still goes to Car Shows …👍🏻 It is my every day driver, and it makes going to the store, considerably more pleasurable than taking my Harley or my truck…! Just like you said it’s all thumbs up everywhere you go…👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🎶

Nice looking car. Is that an original KG color? What is the name/code of the color?

Sorry just saw your question. The colour is close to the original this car had, which is L490 Sierra Beige, and my roof is a bit lighter than the original L87 Pearl White
