If you can't disconnect the wires from the sunvisor then leave for the end when you lower the headliner, behind there is a connector that you can disconnect.

If there is no visible jack that can be detached leave the sun visors hanging and disassemble everything around so you can lower the headliner. When you lower the headliner you will see that it has a jack that needs to be unhooked so it can take off the sun visors

The headliner must be removed before the antenna can be replaced. If you try to unscrew it without removing the headliner, you will break the headliner and the fractures will be permanently visible.

Usually there is a screw under the airbag plate. When the screw is unscrewed then it only needs to be pulled hard.

The procedure is the same as on the Passat CC. Through the passenger door, with slight bending of the headliner, but it is doable.

The best way is to loosen the headliner and lower it onto the seats. You can then easily replace the antenna. Trying to unscrew the antenna by bending the headliner will only ruin it, and will do more harm than good. Wherever the headliner breaks, the line remains permanently. I hope I have helped enough. Greetings. I suggest either removing the headliner completely or at least lowering it on one side so that you can get closer to the antenna screw. If you try from the rear without loosening the headliner, you will just break it. Where the headliner breaks and bends, a permanent line remains, a channel that will always be visible.

I upholstered the original headliner with black fabric along with all the pillars.

Somewhere around 150 euros.
