Congrats on the car. Try holding the Tc button down for 5 seconds instead of just 1 sec, I get a faster launch in that mode. I managed a 6.77 on dragy with one passenger at altitude here in Gauteng. Also tires were warm, so very little slip.

@@PheloMngCars My car came with the Bridgestone Turanza. I've recently changed to Continental premium contact 7 and the are much better. Also went up to 225/40 R18, the mags are 7.5j wide so they are actually recommended to upsize to 225 on the polo aw forums.

Cold tyres and uphill will get you terrible 0-100 runs. Make sure your tyres are up to temperature and you do it in a flat grippy surface.

😂 its never safe to own any car in South Africa to be fair. But for me i dont really travel to crime hotspots so i stay out of trouble that way

Do you think that someone who earns R25 000 with no children or wife nor rent to pay would qualify if they want to buy this car

To be honest even if you earn 17 000 you can qualify. But the issue is can you afford it? once you start factoring in insurance, warranty and service/maintenance costs if the factory ones have expired will you be able to handle those costs etc. ideally for me i do not spend more than 25% of my salary towards a car, if its over that then i cant afford it, even though when i apply i can definitely qualify for finance

You made it clear that I don't even know how to respond. I'm just happy that you said even with 17K one would still qualify. I'd go for it as long as they'd give me that opportunity, wouldn't mind because it will be for maybe 5 years only then it will all be mine
