That is my motto.
I am a german car driver with 20 + years of driving experience and as you could have guessed: I love cars. I show you how I drive from my POV with two onboard cams. There is “no speedlimit“ for me, only the limit of the car can stop me. I demonstrate acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ), high-speed-runs and test drives on the German Autobahn / Deutsche Autobahn. With my videos I want to give you a real and raw driving experience with all type of cars (manual, automatic, electric, hybrid) and all the noises that come with it. So let‘s find out how fast I can drive, shall we? But I have one last message for you: Please don‘t test your limits on the streets when you don‘t know what you are doing. Is says 730 - 779 kg. My Swift weighs 1035 kg, and the difference between driving alone and with only one passenger is quite noticable. Imagine going on a family trip with some luggage in this Polo.

@@Jantol93 My mum had this car for years as Polo FOX model, maybe its not super fast but it can get u from A to B just fine. And in comparison to VW's later 1.2 liter 3 cylinder engines found in Polo 4 9N, these cars dont have the problem that u always need to shift back into first gear when u want to drive uphill somewhere with more than just the driver sitting in it, which always resulted in a pretty unpleasant feeling and it kinda disqualifies those cars for daily use

with weber DMTR 2 barrel carb, see trough muffler, spare wheel and a jack delete, i think it even accelerated fairly fast. No one believed me when i said it's a 1,3. 0-100km/h 8seconds stock it was like 14,5 or something in the manual. Top speed with the 4 speed was 153km/h just like when it was stock because the gearbox ended there, had plenty power for more. Fun little car, i had to sell it when some mf smashed the windshield one night, couldn't find one. Last week i heard that it's on the road again, pretty heartwarming

i bought 8k tachometer to it and it wasn't enough just tested a couple times because the stock valve springs were pretty soft but it even had 9k revs in it😄

My vw lupo weights 900kg and 75hp 1,4L. Kinda fun when sidewind is a treat. With these light hatches you get thrown around like some leaf on high speed lols.

@sabiloxflu5753 In english, a car is "it" if you want to be grammatically correct. But from an emotional standpoint, you basically can have something like a relationship with a car, and it you can use him or her to be more "personal", but this is just to give the object, in this case the car, some form of personality. Both is incorrect but can be used for this purpose to make it sound like you are talking about a living thing instead of an object.

Hatte das gleiche Auto auch mal. Hat damals immer fun gemacht die Leute mit ihren fetten Karren in der Stadt abzuhängen. Auf der Autobahn hatte ich mit dem gleichen Motor auf gerader Strecke 162 kmh GPS geschafft...

They were very nimble vehicles in the city. They were also available with 113 hp, which was very fast for the time. Don´t forget 720kg and 113hp went forward like a go kart. There is no more driving experience like this today

I had an Audi 80 L from 1974 with 55 HP. It was quite agile and it reached around 165 kmph too. The weight was around 850 kg. All in all a good car !

I drive a Peugeot 106 1.1 XN from 1991 with 60 HP. It weights 850 kilograms. It does 170 km/h on the autobahn.

Mein Plan ist es, den als Erstwagen zu holen. War erst skeptisch wegen des 4-Gang-Getriebes, aber jetzt wirkt 120 im 3. Gang schon recht amüsant. Geht auch echt erstaunlich gut ab - bei ca 700kg aber auch kein Wunder :D Mit jedem anderen Fahrzeug wäre ich bei 120 schon längst im 6. haha

My cars chronologicaly : w123 240D w126 500SE vw polo Coupe 1.1 vw t4 caravelle 2.0 benzin Renault Laguna 1.9 dti vw polo Coupe 1.1 Mitsubishi Carisma GDI Skoda Felicja 1.9d Skoda Octavia 1.9 tdi 90ps Smax 2.0tdci 140ps. The best car i ever had is POLO, never stop, never broke. I drive around europe and always come back safetly. Little gocart i wish to buy some 1.3 diesel polo Coupe. 3rd one

Falls der Tacho halbwegs richtig anzeigt ist der Polo erstaunlich schnell für 1.3 54PS. Rund 12s auf 100 lässt mich vermuten, daß der Motor entweder ordentlich nach oben streut oder vielleicht sogar etwas daran gemacht wurde. Ich habe einen Kadett E 1.4 60PS der mit 13,5s auf GPS 100 schon 2s schneller als Werksangabe ist aber der Polo ist nochmal fast 2s schneller. Respekt (:

Ich war von dem Auto ebenfalls angenehm überrascht. Da alles im Serienzustand ist, gehe ich auch davon aus, dass er leistungsmäßig nicht zu knapp nach oben streut.

@@wolfgangemmerich7552 Das ist nicht selten bei alten Autos. DIe Zahnräder sind meist aus einer Art Hartgummi und zersetzen sich dann mit der Zeit, dann scheren die Zähne ab und das Laufwerk dreht sich nicht mehr. Ist bei meinem Kadett GSI 16V auch so. Habe schon ein neues Zahnrad da liegen aber hatte noch keine Lust das einzubauen. Bei meinem 1.4 fängt es auch schon an.

Top speed 153km/h with additional weight around 120kg. So with less extra weight you can do I guess 155 156km/h on gps

Geiles Video, geile Karre, geil nachgemacht (NL) ;) Ich habe so einen als Faceliftmodell mal gefahren und war felsenfest davon überzeugt, dass es die 75 PS GT Coupe Version war ;) Die 55 PS Polos rannten wie doof ! Als ich dann wirklich mal den 75er fahren durfte.... genial. Ich würde zu gerne mal den G40 fahren. 115 bzw. 113 PS in dem Schuhkarton ?! Wenn jemand hier mal Bock hat, einen Sommer lang dieses 'echte' Fahrgefühl zu erleben und das dann *OverTheTop* quasi, der sollte sich mal einen Peugeot 205 mit 1.4 Liter und 75 PS gönnen. Das Getriebe ist so herrlich kurz übersetzt, dass fühlt sich wirklich fast an wie ein Go-Kart mit Zulassung ;)

Yes weight of the car makes a significant imapct. But on the other hand you don't want to be in accident with car like this. I bet that even 50 km/h crash in city can be fatal in this Polo.

@@Romif_SK You're right. When you say "even at 50km/h", I had grandma which crashed a similar vehicle (it was also a old VW) at 30km/h and she was hospitalized for several days. No, I wasn't the death trap beetle.

i timed it with a stopwatch (you can count the roadside posts to get how far he's driven), and the speedo is not to bad. It was doing something between 160 and 165 while the speedo sat just above 170. So about 10 km/h off is ok for an old car like this. i know others to show 20 or more over the real speed.

why not? Tha't what it was build for. If the oil in the engine is ok and it was warmed up properly it'll be better for the engine than some city driving with low loads, traffic jams and lot of idling...

@@NoSpeedLimitGermany Sieht mir auch danach aus. Was allerdings wohl schon vor vielen Jahren stehen geblieben ist, ist der Kilometerzähler. Der zeigt von Anfang bis Ende des Videos 68.301 km.

Laut Stoppuhr + Leitpfosten zählen rennt der tatsächlich knapp 165 in der Spitze, der Tacho geht also nicht mehr als 10 km/h vor am oberen Ende. Das ist schon ganz ok ;-)

@@CherryGS Habe den gleichen Motor im Golf II (1.3 NZ), aber 165 schafft er da nicht, weil der Golf schwerer ist. 165 ist echt gut. 👍
