I'm in the middle of following you tutorial with my car, it seems that the fabric is designed for an auto because I have a Manuel and the shape behind the steering wheel buttons is different for paddles so I'm kind of stuck with what I do

How long it will survive before stitches will come off and all will fall apart...two weeks? Unfortunately all after market modifications looks nice only for first few weeks.
