VW T4 Wireless rear reversing camera kit from ebay

A reversing camera that is actually very straight forward to install, and surprisingly very cheap for what it is. This camera is a wide angle lens however I think for the position of the camera it could do with being slightly lower and angled up a bit more, but also it needs a slightly wider angle lens, however if like me and you only want it so you can reverse up nice and close without using the bumper as a bumper, then this is the perfect solution, more so because of how cheap it is. I paid £22.99 however at the time of editing this I have seen that they have come down in price to £19. I do have a headunit that has a camera function built in so this cheap kit should be as easy as a plug and play kit to install.
Without the help of Matt I would have either bodged this up good and proper or broke something, because when it comes to any autoelectrics I have always insisted that Matt do the work for me, because he knows so much and he can do this install in a fraction of the time it took me.

Although the picture quality is never as good when using wireless kits it saves so much work & in some cases running an extra wire from front to back is not possible. This kit is ideal if your towing.

It would of been hassle to run any cables, especially as it’s now been converted into a campervan. And without you none of this would of been possible, this video would never have happened, you showed me the wireless kit online, and even though you were extremely busy you still took the time to help me out 🙏 😎

Hey bud, great vids. Fellow Golf vr6 and t4 2.5 owner here. Great vehicles! How are your curtains for blackout during the day, I can see some light coming thru, are they OK or not good for length (being a caravelle it's a shorter drop) they seem made for panelless vans.

The curtains I got are okay, yes they let a little light in around the edges etc but compared to what I had before I actually slept in late and wasn’t woken up by the sun, just the heat of the sun warming the van up is the next problem 🤦‍♂️ I got baimex curtains coz I could t find a supplier for Caravelle curtains, as you said most companies make them for panel vans which is no good for the caravelle

Unfortunately i was working on 3 vans that day -with a deadline & this was only day of good weather so was making twigg do work .

I’m sorry, it was also about 4pm when I sprung it on you that I had the reversing camera to fit, I should of mentioned it hours before when I first arrived 🤦‍♂️

@@mcjjordan haha yeah for you maybe, but not for me, now I know what I’m doing I could do them a lot quicker, it’s having the confidence to start with, just having you near by was all the confidence I needed, in my mind if I cocked up you could fix it 😂
