I'm a little late to the show, but got to it after all... Nice video, I'm digging it. How is it, though, that this version has 102 hp instead of the typical 150 or 170? Is it specific to their commercial vehicles, or something like that?

Thanks mate. This is the VW EA189 engine which was also used in the Passat. It is in this case limited by software to 102hp.

@@SuperchargedMagazine Got it! Yes, I recall now seeing certain personal vehicles from VW which feature the 2.0 TDI with less horsepower, in order to avoid local taxes. Belgium, I think, is one such place which taxes on horsepower or kW instead of cyl capacity.

we have these at work. i dont really like the third gear, in the city i am at 2500 rpm and when i shift up into 4th it isnt able to handle a slight hill. except for that its ok, but the one you drove is missing a lot of features.

Hast du den Tacho abgedeckt, damit keine Spiegelung im Glas entsteht und somit die Aufnahme von der GoPro besser ist.
